1/4 pound Butter (1 stick)
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups White Karo Syrup
Bring to a slow boil.
Add 2 cups heavy cream very slowly as to not break the boil.
Let boil till temperature reaches 248 degrees, or desired hardness.
Remove from heat, add 1 tsp vanilla and let cool for a few minutes.
Pour into 9 x 11 pan greased with butter. Don't scrape pan when you pour out.
If you make this recipe and take off the heat sooner, so it's somewhat runny, it makes
excellent apple dip.
